One of the requirements for the students in the Isla Mujeres Scholarship Program is that is that they communicate at least once a month with their sponsors. That communication can be done via email or in the Facebook group that has been created for their team. This is a great way to learn more about each other and to form a lasting relationship.
This month Gibran’s email to his sponsors included a little about a class he is taking as part of the Hospitality Management curriculum. Gibran wrote: “This period was so good we did molecular kitchen it was fried eggs of coconut and mango like “fake fried eggs". To me this is what makes this program special. Getting to know the students that I sponsor is priceless, so much more than just writIng a check. ♥️
