Student sponsors Sheryl and Steve met graduates Diana and Paloma, and students Angel and Caro joined with some family members for dinner on Isla. Maggie one of the Scholarship’s administrators coordinated the get together. The sponsors of the Isla Mujeres Scholarship Program help our students to reach their dreams. 💝 Sheryl posted this: “Those who know us know how much we love Isla Mujeres, Mexico. What you might not know is that for the past five years, we have partnered with Isla Mujeres Scholarship Program to help students get a college education. Tonight we were blessed to get together with four students (past and present) and their parents to celebrate their accomplishments. What an honor and a privilege it is! These students have persevered through extraordinary circumstances. We are so proud of them and our hearts are full! This is one of the many things that set this program apart - Relationships!”

Happy December! Although our students each have a team of sponsors who contribute monthly to fund their education, we have a few who are in need of additional sponsors. We also have a few students that we only send funds to on the semester to pay their tuition. If you are unable to commit to a monthly sponsorship we do accept one time payments which go to the Isla Mujeres Scholarship Program’s “General Fund”. The general fund fills in the gaps for this and it also covers graduation expenses, titles and licensing for the graduates, extra school supplies, field trips and laptops.
