Repairing the world, one step at a time

​A team of compassionate individuals, including former scholarship student Geovanny Avalos, longtime student sponsor and team captain Karen Rosenberg, and dedicated sponsor Ruth Lacey, embarked on a mission with Faith In Practice to Guatemala to provide women's healthcare services to indigenous communities in the jungle area of Peten, exemplifying the spirit of 'tikkun olam' - repairing the world.
