Eli’s Big Disney Adventure

Eli who is studying Business Innovation at University in Cancun has been working very hard toward the goal of working at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida as a part of the Disney International Program. He went through the application and interview process and he was accepted into the program where he will be working in the Food and Beverage department this summer from June 3 to August 8. This is a paid internship program that is all about cultural exchange and brings in people from around the world. 

The preparation for this trip has been expensive and exhausting, but Eli has been working extremely hard to secure his visa and working weekends on Isla Mujeres at Coco Beach Club to earn the money that he needs to get to Florida and to pay his first installment for lodging. The members of this program stay in a dorm like community, have access to free transportation and Disney discounts. 

​Eli is so excited about this opportunity to be able to practice his English each day and to experience living in another culture. He is looking forward to meeting people from around the world and expanding his world view. 

We are thrilled for Eli to have this fabulous experience. Last year Eli was hosted by his team captains Robyn and Carl and spent a month in Canada attending an English university program. I can’t wait to see photos of Eli’s Big Disney Adventure!
