Meet Nursing Student Jaqueline

Jaqueline’s nursing internship will finish at the end of July. After she completes her internship and receives her license and title to practice, she will be a fully licensed nurse. Jaqueline is qualified to get her Maestrea and she wants to specialize in intensive care. The class work is one year, and the clinical work is one more year. The Isla Mujeres Scholarship Program will continue to support Jaqueline through the nursing masters program which begins in January 2025.
When Jaqueline was informed of our decision to continue to support her through the masters program, she replied with a very happy text "The best news I could possibly receive!"

Jaqueline has been a rockstar! Jana, one of the scholarship program administrators had this to say about Jaqueline “I feel like we owe it to the world to provide the best Jaqueline that we can give. She’s absolutely amazing.

Jaqueline said in a recent email “I love my job being a nurse, and like me there are many more who want everything to improve in the world. I want to thank you for always being there for me, I always carry you in my heart, without your support I don't know what would become of us, my mother is always grateful to you. You are a fundamental part of all this, this is also yours, you managed to build this fundamental step in my life. I love each and every one of you who has trusted me.”
