I hereby present myself to you who are giving me the opportunity to make my biggest dreams a reality. Before anything I want to thank you for your time and interest. I am a young and enterprising and above everything a hard worker. I have worked all my life and I have worked hard to get ahead.
I graduated from high school just a few months ago, with one of the best 3 grade point averages of my class, but lack the economic resources needed to go to university. Well, I come from a family of humble circumstances, and my father does not have the money to pay for my studies.
I need to mention that I left my studies for a few years, so I know what it is like to earn a living and the value of things. My biggest dream is to have my degree from the university and finish my studies. I am a person capable of using what I have learned.
In my family I am the only person that has finished high school and this is part of my motivation to keep studying along with those who have encouraged me to continue my studies.
I want to be a professional woman, useful in society and able to develop in any professional position in my work, and more than anything to be my father’s biggest pride. He has all his dreams focused on me and has worked so hard to give me my education so far, and a place to live and a life of dignity.
I know that like me, there are others asking for help from you, that like me, need your help to realize their dreams and be prepared for life. For this reason I would like to thank you if you do give me this opportunity and of course I will work hard to earn your confidence and your help.
Since I was a girl, I have had interest in accounting and administration, which is the area I have decided to study. I want to study Business Administration, and, well in addition to liking this field, I also have aptitude in it.
I like to fight for what I want, I have learned that things that are worth fighting for are not always easy, so it costs me nothing to give it all my efforts.
I need to mention that I am an uncomplicated person, that doesn’t have any vices, and that is why I can assure you that I am a responsible person. I live in a rented palapa built by my father. It is made of lamina (tar paper) wood and recycled materials of wood and cardboard. I am not ashamed of where I live, but with my work and studies I can improve this situation, and in this way give back to my father a little for all that he has given me.
Since I was 11 years old I lived only with him and my older brother. My mother died in an accident, and my older brother now has his own family For that reason for the last 5 years I have lived just with my father, who is a welder. He finished only grade school so he can’t be employed in a company, and he doesn’t have health insurance, nor funds to retire, and he is always saying to me that he does not want the same for me.
In truth thank you so much for your time, if for some reason this opportunity does not come to me, I will continue knocking on doors and working to realize my dreams.
